Exhibit Animal Curator

Learn to feed and care for the resident animal ambassadors in our exhibit room

Our resident animal ambassadors are a big part of Sharon Audubon Center’s environmental education programs. We have a large family of animals in our exhibit room including reptiles (snakes, turtles, lizards), arthropods (walking sticks, cockroaches, tarantula), and birds (doves, crow).

  • Exhibit Animal Curators provide daily husbandry to all our exhibit room animals including diet preparation, providing food and fresh water, cleaning enclosures, and handling as needed/desired.
  • No previous knowledge or experience in animal care necessary.

If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity or would like to learn more, please contact us at the Sharon Audubon Center.
