Few natural spectacles compare to the wonder of watching such a small bird conduct such a complex courtship display. If you haven’t seen it, you won’t want to miss this program! But to have woodcock to appreciate, this robin-sized bird requires properly managed habitat that meets its needs during different stages in its lifecycle. It is currently listed as a priority forest bird for Audubon CT/NY as is suspected to be declining in the Eastern US. Join us in observing these unforgettable birds and learning what you can do, as a landowner, to sustain them.
