2017 Audubon Kids' Day

Sunday, November 5th at 12 - 3 p.m.

Join Audubon Sharon for our annual Audubon Kids' Day! Come enjoy a fun autumn afternoon at our Center on Sunday, November 5th from 12 - 3 p.m. The festivities will include: carnival-type games, kids’ crafts, live animals/petting zoo from The Nature of Things, a hay bale maze, hay wagon shuttles, professional face painting and glitter tattoos, a large leaf pit for jumping, balloon twisting, a magic show, and good food—such as burgers, hot dogs, apple cider, and homemade goodies. Fun for young children and their entire family!

Children are encouraged to come in costume and join in the costume parade around the Center grounds at approximately 2:30 p.m.

  • Admission: $20 per car
  • Rain or shine
  • Ideal for children Pre-K to 3rd grade

Schedule of Events

12:00-2:30 pm:  Games and crafts, balloon twisting, haybale maze, and leaf pit open

12:15-2:15 pm:  Professional Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos from Teach Art 2 Me (kids only)

                             Live animals/Petting Zoo from The Nature of Things

                             Build Your Own Wooden Toy with Wheels with the Tinker Wagon

2:30-2:40 pm:   Costume parade around the parking circle

2:40-3:00 pm:   Magic Show with Majik Andrew

All activities are included in the price of admission! (Food is extra)

Menu: Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Veggie Burger, Hot dog, Homemade Turkey Chili, Homemade soup, Assorted Chips & Snacks, Assorted homemade goodies (such as brownies, cupcakes, cookies, etc.,) hot chocolate, coffee, apple cider, juice boxes, water
