Maintenance-Trail Steward

Assist with trail and grounds care to keep footpaths accessible and structures in good condition

The Sharon Audubon Center offers 11 miles of trails throughout the sanctuary. Trails often need to be cleared of fallen limbs and other debris in order to maintain easy access. Bridge repair, painting, grounds work, wood chopping, fixing up of aviaries, and other special projects also often require the help of enthusiastic volunteers. Sharon Audubon Center welcomes volunteers to help complete these tasks and have a fun time while doing them. Volunteers are also needed for summer maintenance, such as mowing and pulling invasive species. Building or trail maintenance skills are helpful, but not necessary.
