Sharon Audubon Center CLOSED

Our trails are open, but facilities are not available. Please stay safe!

Dear Friends of Audubon,

The health of our visitors, supporters, and staff is of utmost importance to the Sharon Audubon Center. In an effort to help protect our community, we will follow recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as state and local governments and the center building is closed until further notice.

As of March 14th, the rehabilitation clinic is accepting patients via appointment only, with outdoor drop-off. Please call or check our website in advance for updates on whether we are able to accept injured or orphaned wildlife.

The Sharon Audubon Center’s trails are open. If you plan to visit, you are welcome to explore outside. Again, please note that our restrooms are closed. Contributions to help support the center during your visit may be made online at or in a donation box at the start of the trails. If you visit, please plan accordingly.

Because large gatherings increase the risk of spreading COVID-19,  all events and programs are canceled at this time. If possible, we may offer online learning opportunities instead. If you’re unsure of the status of an event or program, please check our events web page regularly.  We will also update our social media platforms with further updates as they arise.

During this difficult time, nature can provide us with respite and soothing experiences. We encourage you to spend time outdoors, and to be safe and healthy. We are monitoring developments of this situation closely and taking precautions wherever possible. We sincerely apologize for having to cancel our events, but we appreciate your understanding.

Thank you for your dedication to Audubon and protecting nature!

Best regards,
Eileen Fielding
Center Director
