Center’s Snakes get New Cages
Due to a very kind donation, the Center’s snakes received brand new reptile cages in late January. The new cages, ordered from Cages By Design, based out of Neenah, Wisconsin, offer our snakes proper heat and humidity, climbing structures, basking areas and room to stretch out to their full length. The cages feature black granite thermofused laminate panels and tough, durable, clear acrylic panels for ideal viewing.
The two Corn Snakes and the Black Rat Snake are now housed in a cage that measures 60” high x 60” wide x 36” deep. New Python cage
A clear vertical divider in the middle of the cage keeps the two species separated. The two Ball Pythons are housed in a cage measuring 36” high x 60” wide x 24” deep.
We are excited about the new look for our snakes and know that these beautiful cages, designed specifically for reptiles, will be exactly what our snakes need to remain healthy and feel secure in their captive setting. Be sure to drop by and check out the new displays and watch for more changes in the Center’s exhibit room over the next year!
