Amphibian Night Part 2

May 25, 2018 - Sharon, CT

Join us for round two of searching for amphibians at Audubon Sharon. Led by naturalist Zach Adams, the program will involve a hike and exploration of mud and vernal pools for migrating and breeding amphibians. We are likely to see some fun frogs, and if we are lucky some of the large and charismatic spotted salamanders as they migrate to the vernal pools to breed. This program will begin at 6:30 PM and last about two hours and will include a bit of hiking to vernal pools, and a return walk in the dark. This program is open and fun for all ages. So bring some muck boots, a flashlight, and join us for an awesome night in the mud and water searching for amphibians! This program is free but we suggest a donation of $5
