Aviary Clean Up Day

The Sharon Audubon Center is home to 14 different species of birds of prey, which are used for education programs. These birds live in large outside aviaries and each spring we do a complete cleaning of the caging, giving the birds new, fresh perches, powerwash the walls, rake up pellets and whatever else needs to be cleaned! It's a big project, so the more helpers we have, the faster it goes and the more we can achieve. Come to help for part of the day and reward yourself by meeting some of the birds up close at 2:00 during the live birds of prey program!
