Raptor Center and Trails: open dawn to dusk
Visitor Center and Nature Store open: Tuesday through Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 1pm-5pm. Closed Mondays and major holidays.
Directions
From the East: coming from the Hartford area, take Route 202 west to Torrington. Exit off of 202 onto Route 4 in Torrington. Head west on 4 through Goshen and Cornwall. Follow signs for Sharon. We are 7.3 miles past the Housatonic Bridge on the left-hand side of the road. Look for Sharon Audubon signs on the right.
From the West: coming from the Taconic State Parkway. Exit off the Parkway onto Route 44 heading east towards Millbrook and Amenia. Take Route 44A to the left. At the stop sign, continue again on 44 heading east. Once in Amenia, you will come to a light, at which there is a sign for Sharon. Continue to follow these signs. At the four-way intersection with Route 4 go straight. (This intersection has a clock tower at it) Stay on 4 for about 2 miles. Look for Sharon Audubon signs, the Center is on your right.
From the North: travel south on Route 7 across the CT/MA state line. Continue on 7 through Canaan, Falls Village, and West Cornwall. At the "T" intersection with Route 4, turn right onto 4 heading towards Sharon. Stay on this road for 7.3 miles. The Center will be on the left, look for our signs.
From the South: coming from Danbury, travel up Route 7 towards Kent. Stay on 7 until you pass over the Housatonic River Bridge. There is a fork in the road with Route 4 heading up hill towards Sharon. Stay on 4 for 7.3 miles after this intersection. The Center will be on your left. Sharon Audubon signs on the right.

From Route 41 in Sharon: Turn onto Calkinstown Road on the east side of Route 41 (across from the Country Corner Restaurant and near Sharon Motor Lodge and Sharon Extra Mart). Travel for 1.8 miles and make slight right onto West Cornwall Road (do not take the left fork onto White Hollow Road). Continue approximately 1.8 miles passing Miles Pond and seeing the sanctuary sign on the right. Pull in and follow signs to the parking area.
From Route 7 in West Cornwall: Turn onto West Cornwall Road on the west side of Route 7 directly across from Cornwall Auto Body and near the intersection of Route 128 and the West Cornwall Covered Bridge. Travel for approximately three miles and see the sanctuary sign on the left. Pull in and follow signs to the parking area.
